Expert diagnosis and treatment plan
We don’t just check boxes or put you IN a box. We listen carefully and balance the art and science of psychiatry. Yes, rating scales and diagnostic criteria are used, but your lived experiences balance these. In addition, our provider is dual-certified and a family nurse practitioner, so you can be sure she won’t miss a thing! Treating the whole person according to that person's goals is the aim.
SPRAVATO® Intranasal Spray
We have seen excellent results with SPRAVATO®, an FDA-approved treatment for adults with treatment-resistant depression or major depressive disorder with suicidal thoughts. Treatments are administered in a serene, warm atmosphere. Ask us for a coffee or hot chocolate at the end of your session!
Medication management and integrative therapies
We use evidence-based practice to develop a personalized treatment plan, including FDA-approved medications and nutraceuticals or supplements. We often order laboratory testing to check for nutritional deficiencies and other abnormalities that may lead to mental health disorders. Lifestyle modification can often significantly improve mental health, and our provider may offer guidance regarding diet, exercise, sleep, and meditation.
Addiction treatment
With extensive experience in treating addictions, our provider is ready to help. We treat opioid and alcohol addictions and can help you taper off benzodiazepines. We can also treat cocaine cravings with medications. We gladly offer buprenorphine (Suboxone) maintenance, Sublocade, Brixadi, Vivitrol injections, and more. You will feel nothing other than respected and embraced at Ananda Psychiatry.
Medication to Meditation Program
Our program combines careful deprescribing with mindfulness, meditation, and personal, non-religious spiritual practices. By integrating medication management with lifestyle and wellness strategies, we help patients reduce reliance on multiple medications while building clarity, balance, and lasting mental well-being.
We are genuinely passionate about this program—even if it means helping patients become less dependent on us. Meditation is a lifelong, transformative tool.
”Come home to your true self”.
